Steffen Kefer

Co-Founder & Head Professional

„Only someone who identifies himself with golf and who can play the game to a high level, can understand the set backs that every golfer faces and can help his students to benefit from his own playing experiences. This is one of the reasons, why we at the PROject GOLFacademy believe it to be utterly important for the professionals to maintain a high playing standard. if you wish to train others, you can not allow yourself to stop learning!“

Steffen Kefer obtained his status as a fully qualified PGA professional through the German PGA during 2009-2012, going through the apprenticeship program. He is a C- and B-Trainer of the DOSB (German Olympic Sport federation) and was working as a Head Professional at Golf & Yachtclub Gut Minoritenhof from 2013-2016.

Not only the sympathy between Steffen and his Co-Founders Christoph and Marcel, but also the vision to create new ideas in the game of golf led him to join forces and open the first PROject GOLFacademy at GC Bad Wörishofen e.V. at which he is also the Head Professional.

Technological swing analyses using state of the art technologies such as TrackMan, Flightscope and the mental training aid ifocusband make him one of the best equipped professionals using the methods for teaching but also for a highly professional clubfitting.

Steffen can also be found in media, as he has been an author for the German magazine „Golf Journal“ since 2014 and the magazine „GolfPunk“ in which he offers training tips. But also playing the game is a big factor in is presence as a golf professional. Steffen takes part in tournaments within the German PGA but is also active internationally.
